If you run a shop, a distribution business or a growing service company in India, your customers don't stay on one app. A retailer sends a reorder on WhatsApp. A new buyer finds you on Instagram and asks for a price list in DMs. Someone else clicks your Facebook ad and opens Messenger. By evening, three apps, three phones and two staff members have each seen part of the conversation, and nobody is sure who replied to whom.
Most "WhatsApp CRMs" sold to Indian SMEs solve only one piece of this. They handle WhatsApp well, but Instagram and Messenger still live on someone's phone. That's why we built the PKD Multi-channel CRM. You can click through it right now, with no sign-up: pkdventures.in/demos/whatsapp-crm.
What the demo shows
1. One unified inbox
Every conversation from WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Instagram lands in a single list. Each chat has a channel badge, so your team knows where it came from. The customer's name, history, notes and assigned staff member all stay together. You no longer have to switch apps to answer a buyer who messaged you on two of them.
2. A channel filter
Some days you only want to clear WhatsApp orders. On other days, your marketing person handles Instagram enquiries. The channel filter shows All, WhatsApp, Messenger or Instagram with one tap, so each person sees only the work that's theirs.
3. A Connected channels screen
This one screen shows which business number, Facebook Page and Instagram account are linked, and whether each connection is healthy. Owners like this part. Nobody has to wonder whether the Instagram connection quietly stopped working last week.
4. The 24-hour window, shown clearly
Meta's platforms have a rule: you can reply freely within 24 hours of a customer's last message. After that, WhatsApp allows only approved templates. The CRM shows a countdown on every chat, so staff know when the window is closing and reply in time.
5. Human Agent tag
On Messenger and Instagram, Meta allows a business to reply to a customer's question for up to 7 days when a real person is handling it. The demo shows how a chat is marked with the Human Agent tag, so late replies to genuine support questions stay within the rules.
6. Reports split by channel
How many enquiries came from Instagram this month? Which channel turns into the most orders? How fast does your team reply on each one? The reports page splits leads, response times and conversions by channel. You'll know where to put your marketing effort and which inbox needs more staff.
Why this matters for Indian SMEs and distributors
Different from WhatsApp-only CRMs. WhatsApp is still the biggest channel for most of our clients. But younger buyers, D2C customers and new leads from ads more and more often start on Instagram or Messenger. A WhatsApp-only tool leaves those leads in personal phones, where they get missed or disappear when a staff member leaves.
Shared team, shared history. Several staff can work from one inbox, and you assign chats to them. When someone is on leave, a colleague opens the chat and sees the full history, whatever app the customer used.
Built for how Indian businesses sell. Price lists, reorders, payment reminders and dispatch updates are the daily work of distributors and wholesalers. The CRM can sit next to your billing and order system instead of replacing it.
If your business moves stock through dealers and retailers, also look at our Distribution Automation demo, which covers salesman order booking, Admin and Manager approval, dealer alerts on email and WhatsApp, and dealer-wise reports: pkdventures.in/demos/distribution.
What you should know before you start
We'd rather be upfront about the limits:
- Messenger and Instagram need Meta app approval. Connecting them to any CRM, ours included, needs a Meta app review and a verified business. This usually takes a few days to a few weeks, and we help you through the paperwork. WhatsApp runs through the official WhatsApp Business Platform, which also needs a verified business and approved message templates.
- No promotional broadcasts on Messenger and Instagram. Meta doesn't allow bulk marketing blasts on these two channels. They're for replying to customers who message you first. If you want broadcast offers, use WhatsApp with approved marketing templates, which Meta charges per message.
- The demo uses sample data. Your live setup is built around your own products, team roles and workflows.
