About this tool
Separate a long PDF into smaller files: every page as its own PDF, fixed-size parts (for example every 2 pages), or custom ranges where each range becomes one file. Pages are copied as they are, so text, images and links inside the pages keep their quality. Everything runs in your browser with pdf-lib.

- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
- Bookmarks and document-level form logic are not copied to the parts.
Frequently asked questions
How do I write ranges?
Separate ranges with commas: 1-3, 5, 8-10. A trailing dash means “to the end”, so 9- is page 9 to the last page. Each range becomes one PDF.
Is the quality reduced?
No. Pages are copied without re-rendering, so content is unchanged.
Does it keep bookmarks and form fields?
Page content is kept. Document-level features such as bookmarks (outlines) and interactive form logic may not carry over to the parts.
Is Split PDF private?
Yes. This tool processes files entirely in your browser, so your files are not uploaded to our servers.
