About this tool
SVG keeps logos, diagrams and illustrations sharp at any size and can be edited in Inkscape, Illustrator or Figma, or placed directly on a web page. This tool converts every page of a PDF to SVG on our server with Poppler (pdftocairo). Vector shapes stay vector, embedded photos stay as images, and text is converted to outlines so it looks identical without needing the fonts. A one-page PDF gives one SVG; longer PDFs download as a ZIP with one SVG per page. Files are deleted right after conversion.

Frequently asked questions
Can I edit the text in the SVG?
Not as text: letters become vector outlines, which keeps the look exact. You can still recolour, move or delete them.
Is my file uploaded?
Yes — this conversion runs on our server because browsers cannot produce vector SVG from PDF. The file is deleted immediately after conversion.
Will a scanned PDF become vector?
No. A scan is a picture, so the SVG will contain that picture, not traced lines.
Is PDF to SVG private?
Your file is uploaded over an encrypted connection and processed in a private temporary folder on our server. The uploaded file and the result are deleted from the server as soon as processing finishes — whether it succeeds or fails — and the result is sent straight to your browser. If an upload is interrupted part-way, its temporary data is removed automatically within about 30 minutes. We do not keep copies.
