About this tool

Publish a PDF's content as a web page that reads well on phones and is easy to copy into a CMS. The converter extracts the text with PDF.js and writes a single, self-contained HTML file with one section per page and simple, responsive styling. Turn on page pictures to also embed an image of every page, so charts, photos and layout stay visible. Right-to-left text such as Urdu is marked so browsers display it correctly. Scanned PDFs fall back to on-device OCR.

Good to know

  • Layout, fonts and tables are not recreated.
  • Page pictures make the file much larger (up to 100 pages).
  • OCR covers the first 30 pages of a scanned PDF (English or Hindi).

Frequently asked questions

Does the HTML look exactly like the PDF?

No. The text becomes normal web paragraphs so it reflows on any screen. Exact fonts, positions and tables are not recreated. Turn on page pictures if you need a visual copy of each page.

Are images included?

Individual images are not extracted. With page pictures on, each whole page is embedded as a JPG inside the HTML file.

Is it one file?

Yes. Everything, including page pictures, is inside a single .html file.

Is PDF to HTML private?

Yes. This tool processes files entirely in your browser, so your files are not uploaded to our servers.
